Bobby’s scout troop goes on a rite of passage expedition in the woods with Hank and his pals. The idea behind The Order of the Straight Arrow is for the kids to understand that their parents will team up to play jokes on them, and Hank and his pals plan to make the kids participate in a series of Native American rituals. But Bobby takes the experience seriously, and things get out of hand when Bobby bludgeons an endangered whooping crane while on a “snipe hunt.”
